Baked Cinnamon Pears with Oat Topping

Makes a great dessert or snack during the day.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

Peeled and sliced pears (about 3 medium pears)

2 1/2 cups (625 mL) 

Cinnamon

1/8 tsp (0.5 mL)

Topping:

 

Old fashioned rolled oats

1/2 cups (125 mL) 

Cinnamon

1/8 tsp (0.5 mL) 

Maple syrup

1 Tbsp (15 mL)  

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350º F (180º C).
  2. In a medium sized baking dish* add the pears and the cinnamon.
  3. In a bowl combine the oats cinnamon and maple syrup. Scatter over the pears.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes. Serve hot or cold.

This recipe can also be made in 4 individual ramekins.
