Get a Food Guide refresher. Health Canada’s Food Guide website has lots of good information and tools to learn more about healthy eating and daily food choices. Here are a few links to answer your questions.  Use this information to create menu plans that are right for you.

2. Mealtime challenge: How can I get my kids to eat right?

We all want the best for our children. We know when children eat right they keep a healthy body weight, grow well and are better able to focus at school.

It’s normal for a child’s appetite to go up and down as they grow and for them to refuse certain foods. Try to eat together often, serve healthy choices and let your children see you make healthy choices.
